••• Enma Clarisse Castillo is a twenty year old college student currently on her last year in Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science. She has a reputation for being a love cynic and a conservative. Growing up in a toxic environment, she has been trying to prove herself to her family, specifically to her mother all her life. Fighting to be seen and to be heard, wearing that mask she carefully carved through expectations and guilt. When Enma finally learned the truth about her family, it cost her an entire year in college. This failure made her realized that she's done fighting for someone else. This time, she will fight for herself and for her own happiness. And on that realization, her paths crossed with Ian. Ian Michael Marron, a 22 year old fresh graduate from UP. He was in a sense, Enma's opposite. He grew up in a comfortable life and without any pressure from his family. He's perfect in all aspects: brain, looks, talent, and even in personality. But this seemingly perfect image will soon break. Two flawed souls, quite different but similar. Just fighting to break off each other's masks, revealing their true selves.
