Renna Sorrengail always lived by the phrase 'before you leave me' because as riders, every goodbye could be the last. After losing both of her husbands, she built walls around her heart, burying grief beneath duty and discipline. As a Major stationed in Samara, she believes she has control - until Xaden Riorson and Garrick Tavis arrive under her command. Facing the son of the man she holds responsible for her husbands' deaths is difficult enough, but discovering that the truths she's clung to may have been lies all along shakes the very foundations of everything she believed. Acts 1-3 follow the plot of The Empyrean Series by Rebecca Yarros. The entire story will contain spoilers from the books including Onyx Storm. For up to date series warnings please see intro chapter. All characters, plot, and dialogue from The Empyrean series belongs to Rebecca Yarros. This is simply fanfiction. Renna Sorrengail, Wrenley, Eden, and Harlow Tavis and random named cadets not from the series were created by me. Most Information about Naolin was created by me but Naolin himself belongs to Rebecca Yarros.

Elara Sorrengail has always been the rebellion's favorite sunshine girl. Born Tyrrish, raised between Aretia and the Navarre, she grew up with three dangerous boys at her side-Bodhi Durran, Garrick Tavis, and Xaden Riorson. One of the was her best friend. Two of them became her lovers. One of them graduated and became her secret husband. But when the rebellion fell, Elara was torn away from them all. Now she's back at Basgiath, marked, deadly, and done hiding. Her arrival sparks a storm: -Xaden is the Wing Leader who can't afford to break. -Garrick is the second-in-command who still bleeds for her. -Bodhi, her best friend, and chaotic other half. -Violet, her cousin, bonds the dragon whose mate belongs to Xaden... which means Elara's husband has to protect Violet to protect the dragons. (Yeah. Awkward is an understatement.) But Elara didn't come to Basgiath to play nice. She came to reclaim her men, survive the parapet, and earn her place in the Riders Quadrant-not as a Sorrengail, but as a Riorson. And when her signet awakens? It's stronger than anyone expected. Stronger than Violet. Stronger than Xaden. Stronger than Basgiath is ready for. Powerful enough to expose secrets...and destroy anyone who threatens the people she loves. War is coming. Dragons are choosing sides.

Every heartbeat I touched stitched itself into me, burning threads of light under my skin. Some were fleeting sparks, gone before I could breathe. Others were storms, all rage and fire. But his - Liam's - was different. Unyieling. Fierce. It anchored me when everything else threatened to shatter me. I should have feared it. Bond this deep were dangerous. They bled, they broke, they destroyed. Fainne warned me that feeling too much could shatter even the strongest rider. And yet, when his hand brushed mine, when his presence steadied the chaos inside me, I craved more. More of his fire. More of his light. Even if it meant I'd burn. - A Liam Mairi x OC fanfiction. Friends to lovers. Angst. Slow burns. !DISCLAIMER! All characters (apart for the OC) belong to Rebecca Yarros

If you learn too much information, even your father will want to get rid of you. It is said that the Rider quadrant is the worst and deadliest. Well, Evie goes there with five years of training for the Healer quadrant and a determination to defy her father's expectations and survive. She will be independent and uncontrollable. Her determination naturally catches the attention of Wingleader, who dislikes surprises and people whose next moves he can't predict. Evie has already decided which side of the war she will be on, she does not yet have all the information and it is only a matter of time before she accidentally learns more things that can greatly affect her decision. ... I announce in advance that not everything is according to the truth. There are several characters in the story that I made up and I claim the rights to them. Otherwise, all characters belong to Rebecca Yarros. NOTICE - vulgarisms - violence - also death I am sorry, English is not my first language, so expect some mistakes, maybe typos.

Eira Riorson was always meant to be a rider. Watching her father executed beneath dragon fire and bearing the marks that followed didn't change that fact. She was fierce. Calculating. Mysterious. Closed off. And viciously protective of her people and secrets. She was a force to be reckoned with, and fortress that couldn't be shaken. Or so she thought. All it took was one man's smile and restless persistence to crack the walls she spent years building. He showed her something she never believed in. Love. Their story wasn't some fairytale, but it was theirs nonetheless. This is the story of how Eira and Ridoc found their ordinary in a war torn world. #1 under imogencardulo (03/01/2026) #2 under ridocgamlyn (28/01/2026) #4 under ridoc (18/12/2025) (07/02/2026) #5 under violetsorrengail (31/12/2025) #5 under empyrean (08/01/2026)

Useless, ungrateful, cruel, reckless, selfish, too smart for her own good, mad; never loving, beautiful, creative, selfless; not even misunderstood. Sounds familiar? Well for me it's nothing new. I heard those things all my life. Being "the other one" in family always looks like that but I didn't mind, not really. I could just disappear and no one would look for me. I didn't mind that either. My life revolves around all kind of trainings. That's why I am who I am now. They call me 'the perfect soldier' but in fact they don't know me at all. I am as far away from that term as I could be and they're about to find that out. My name is Nezzera and you are in my story now. Xaden Riorson x OC _____________ All characters, other than my own original characters, belong to Rebecca Yarros. The main world belongs to the Fourth Wing book, as does the main plot.

Auren Riorson never expected to survive her first year at Basgiath War College-not like this. Not with the memory of Liam's death carved into her bones. Not with a signet that grows more volatile by the day. Not with the truth about her family's murder and the fables of dark wielders and wyvern proving to be terrifyingly real. Now, the real tests begin. Second year at Basgiath is more brutal than the first, filled with survival trials designed to break riders from the inside out. But it isn't just the enemy outside the wards she has to fear. With her dragon Mal newly mated to a dragon-Auren finds herself tethered, however unwillingly, to the one rider she vowed never to trust. And with Navarre's lies unraveling, every secret threatens to destroy her before the venin ever can. The world is burning. Wardstones are failing. And the dark wielders aren't just stories whispered in the archives-they're coming. To survive, Auren must decide who is truly worth her trust, even as betrayals cut closer to home than she ever imagined. Determination won't be enough this time. Because in a world where dragons choose their riders, and dragons themselves carry dangerous secrets, Auren will have to prove that her iron will is strong enough to save them all- -or risk losing everything she holds dear to the flames.
