"Your Alex's parents, Mr and Mrs Wild?" The nurse asked tentatively, a sympathetic look on his face. "Yes, we are. Ca-can we see him?" His mother asked, stuttering slightly, gripping her husbands arm. "I wouldn't recommend it. If his condition worsens even slightly, you will ultimately be the ones to make the choice to bring him up or not. He's critical, chances of recovery are slim." 'Nurse Stephens' (what his name tag read) explained. Alex's mother and father looked at each other simultaneously, as if having an entire conversation in a glance. "Shall we?" His father asked. "Together." His wife replied. They slowly paced into the dimly lit operating theatre. His mother immediately broke down at the sight, his father blatantly refusing to look. ^^ SPOILERS So yeah, this is a rather tragic boyxboy story, but I needed a dramatic bit. Thanks to the writer of The Journal for inspiration to write this! -Luke
