A homicide in Louisiana makes the BAU revisit a series of old murders in the area that follow the same MO. And soon they discover that the case is much bigger than they originally thought. During the investigation, Agent Hotchner comes in contact with a number of relatives of the old victims. And one of them sticks out; Sofia Wade. Sofia is tough, driven and she's not shy to ask for the things she needs which includes Agent Hotchner's attention. But her involvement in the case and their big age difference warn Agent Hotchner to keep his distance.

"Look who the cat dragged in," she directed at Hotch, smirking. To her surprise, Emily watched as her boss' lip twitched in what was suspiciously close to a smile. Now that was unusual. She had never seen that woman before. "Surprised they let you work somewhere you can't shoot your way out or blow something up," Hotch gave back dryly. Emily's eyebrows disappeared further under her bangs, and she exchanged a surprised look with Morgan. It was rare to see Hotch smirk, was he actually bordering on flirting?
