This is a short story I wrote on October 10, 2011 when I got home from school. I don't really know where it came from, I just sat down and put my ideas into words, and eventually those words into paragraphs. I won't tell you much about how this story goes, seeing as it is very short. Basically, it's a very... unique love story between two teenagers. I hope you enjoy it, and don't forget to vote!

"As I sat on the toilet, I realized how badass I was being. First of all, I (kind of) broke into Walmart; Second, I was (kind of) plotting to steal toilet paper; and third, I was doing all this while a hurricane was brewing outside." Ellie wanted a quick trip to Walmart to buy some toilet paper for her mom. A minute in, a minute out. Instead, she got locked in. With her secret love, of course.

Brea and Christina Knight haven't always had life easy. Their mom Marissa had them at seventeen, but that hasn't stopped the vibrant twins from growing up into happy teenagers with their only issue being that their biological father is someone they would rather forget existed. But when one of the twins falls pregnant, the girls make a sudden decision to run away. But they will come back eventually. They just want to meet their father again for the first time in eleven years. Their lives are changing, and they know they can't keep the baby a secret for long.

Marissa was a simple seventeen year old high school junior who usually kept to herself. Her close friends Kayla and Emma were the only friends she usually talked to, other than her boyfriend Kyle. After holding out from having sex for so long, Marissa decided she wanted to do it. After the first time, Marissa can't stop thinking about it, and she and Kyle have sex in his car. An incident with a condom occurs, and Marissa is talked into unprotected sex. Six weeks later, Marissa learns she's pregnant, and that she conceived her child the day she wasn't safe, which she had expressed was her fear to Kyle. Now Kyle's become distant, Marissa's unable to tell her parents and has her secrets confided with her older sister Celia, and she's unsure if she should have the baby at all. In what went from teenage hormones to teenage expectant parents, how will things pan out for Marissa and Kyle?

He’s not against the concept of love; it’s just not for him. When Leah and Vicky were growing up, Adrian was always around playing the ‘big brother’ part. It was only natural, after all those years, that Vicky and Adrian had a love/hate relationship: he was always annoying her to death, but she couldn’t ignore how caring he was. So, when Vicky needs him, like a knight in shining armor, Adrian is the one to rescue her. After a series of events that throw them together, in the end, well, let’s just say that there wasn’t much hate left between them…

It was pity that first made Dannie speak to him. It was odd, she had thought, that all the popular kids who had once kissed the ground he walked on, didn’t so much spared him a glance anymore, and it was this that made her sit with him that one faithful day and begin something that would only end up causing her pain.
