Phantom was the newest quintessance ghoul. Skittish and silent, the pack wants nothing more than to bond with him, to love him. But Phantom is afraid. Afraid to let himself be loved no matter how he longs for it. They can't know what's under his mask. They'll hate him for it, reject him, and he'll be alone. After seeing how they interact, Phantom would rather be erased than sent back to the Pits where all he's known for so long was the empty void of loneliness. Preface to polyghouls.
