After Izuku and his father get involved in a car accident when he was only fourteen, he finds himself paralyzed from the waist down and stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. With his father passing away in the crash, Izuku is raised through his teenage years by his mother, and he manages to get used to living with wheels. Although his disability keeps him from doing a few things, he still manages to live a decent life and make his way around with ease. However, his life changes when he accidentally runs into a person on the street, causing the tall man to spill his coffee. Izuku is the one to get splashed with the hot liquid, but still feels bad about the incident and offers to pay for the blond's coffee. The man is none other than Katsuki. Even though he's in a bit of a rush, on his way to work, he finds himself falling for a freckled guy in a wheelchair who was kind enough to buy him another drink.
