The war is over, and it's time to return to school to make up the seventh year that so many missed. But there are those who won't be returning. Draco Malfoy does not want to go back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That is among the few things of which he is absolutely certain. He knows the empty seats at meals and in classes will remind everyone- and himself, too- of what he has done. Draco is broken, maybe beyond repair. Guilt weighs down on him always, and nightmares chase him in his sleep. Images of the war, and of all of those who died because of what he's done, rise up in his mind, and every night he wakes up screaming and sometimes crying. If there is a way to put the pieces of his heart, soul, and mind together again, it won't be easy, and no matter what, he will never be quite the same again. But Draco's not the only one who was damaged by the war. Harry Potter is now the Boy-Who-Lived-Twice, but he's not the same anymore. He spends most of his time alone. In many ways he and Draco are the same. He is constantly feeling that he is the reason everyone died, and he has nightmares too. Memories of those he lost, who lost their lives for him at the Battle of Hogwarts, haunt him during the day. At night they scream at him that it's all his fault. Everyone worships him as the savior of the Wizarding World, but he doesn't feel like a hero. When these two broken boys come together, they will find understanding, comfort, and friendship in the most unlikely places, and maybe just a bit more. My writing is gross and total cringe at the beginning but it gets wayyy better I can promise you that. --- It's eighth year at Hogwarts and Harry just can't stand to stay in that dark old house any longer. He goes to school and finds that without a distraction like Voldemort, Harry is becoming obsessed with Draco Malfoy. Draco just seems to be acting off. Draco Malfoy couldn't stand to be at the manor anymore. It only reminded him of what he had become. Of what his family had become while He was there. When he comes back to school for eighth year, he is just falling apart. He tries his best to use his Malfoy Mask™ to hide what's going on, and it works mostly, the only person it doesn't work on is the one person he wishes he could avoid. Harry Potter.

This is based off the TMNT 2014 movie, everything I wrote here (well usually) is everything I imagined like i'm acting it out (just putting out my acting skills) so I hope you'll like it.
