"cowboy take me away" - dixie chicks Daphne Carter, famous meteorologist and retired tornado chaser is persuaded to return home to Oklahoma to help her best friends get scans off tornados. it was until the chaser met Tyler Owens, famous tornado wrangler that made her love for her home town grow. it isn't until her ex boyfriend makes his way into the picture that the road gets bumpy.

Jackie Peterson and Tyler Owens, strangers to lovers to enemies to colleagues. They hate each other, well that's what the world thinks. Jackie and her podcast followers see Tyler as the boy who broke her in two. Tyler's YouTube subscribers see Jackie as the woman who wouldn't let him chase. They hate each other in the most beautifully painful way. Haunting each other in their dreams, always reminding them of each other through the storms seen. Jackie, a woman who survived heartbreak, forcing herself back into the life of the man who broke her. Tyler, a man with many regrets, inviting the woman he abandoned for a chance at more fame (and to restart, if she so accepts). Two souls once tied together now rekindle for the chance at more money and more followers. Yet a storm is upon them, it's an outbreak of the century and damnit, this love and heartbreak of theirs is enough to make a grown man sob. Afterall, cowboys cry too.
