But change steps in, or, more like a girl steps in. Not magazine cover pretty- not farm girl plain. No, just a girl. Rita Alden steps into the picture. She smiles- and his heart soars. Talks- even of things he could care less about, and then he's interested. Laughs- and he hopes to be why she does. Cares- and makes the whole world a better place- or, at least, dreary London, a better place. Rita is everything he ever wanted- and she's in love with his brother. ° Edmund knew from the beginning that the trip to America wasn't going to be easy. He knew their boat would be crowded and cold. He knew it would take a few weeks to reach solid ground. He knew the food would be scarce. And yes, life on the boat is pretty awful. But if the normal, mundane life on the boat isn't bad enough, change is on the prowl and it's building issues even as it seems to squash them. Viola hadn't known the Pevensies for too long, just short of a year but she knew enough to form her opinions on them all. First, there was Susan. Her best friend who she knew would be there for her through it all. Then there was Peter. The closest thing to a brother she'd ever had and whom she cared for deeply Next was Lucy, the young girl everyone loved. Lastly there was Edmund. Oh how she loathed him...

Diana is the princess of a far away country in the world of Narnia, but since she is the youngest of her siblings she is looked down upon, and even worse she is a girl so her only purpose is to be married off. But even though her family is cruel to her she still has a gentle heart. Because of her upbringing she has learned not to go against the wishes of her father, he is the king after all, and so she is promised away to the king of Narnia who she has never met before. Will she learn to be more confident in herself and go against her father? Will she fall in love with the charming king Edmund? This is just a rough start, I will change some things around when I have finished writing the story :) I also wanted to maybe draw some illustrations and put them in, but that will be the last thing I do. Enjoy :) Disclaimer- this is just something i imagined could have happened while the Pevensies were living in Narnia through the golden age, so i do not own the characters that are from C.S. Lewis, however the plot and dialogue and some extra characters are original.

100 years. That was how long they had been waiting for this terrible time to end. The four nymphs had kept the land together as best as they could, but they would never be the Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve that were needed to end this time.
