"I'm a bastard, Nyra. I always was one. Being loved by the Queen does not change that," "Father loves you as well. I see his eyes light up whenever you are talked about," "That light...is not light, my dragoness. It is shame. Shame for what I am. For what he did that resulted in me..." "Mother did not think that way. Neither does father. And...I do not see you as that either, Jae..." ~~~~~~~~~~ Bastards are born of lust, passion, and most of all, shame. Their mere existence is something that brings dishonour on their Father's House, and are often times treated as less than dirt. They say that everything a bastard touches, will rot and die the next day. And in the case of royal Bastards, life is not much better. Jaehaerys Waters. A boy born to Viserys Targaryen, prior to the Prince's marriage to Aemma Arryn, was seen by the court as a symbol of dishonour. A symbol of shame... Being the son of a Targaryen Prince and Serenei of Lys, said to be the most beautiful woman in all of the Seven Kingdoms and the last of a noble Valyrian household, Aemon was born with striking looks, and beautiful white hair. And despite Queen Aemma Arryn showing the boy a mother's love when Serenei did not, Jaehaerys was constantly reminded of his status. And what shame he brought... But even then, bastards can sometimes rise to heights that no one ever even considered. And in the case of Jaehaerys "Dragon Eyes" Waters, whose eyes mimicked that of a fierce Dragon's...he would rise higher than any Dragon, mortal, or bastard ever thought possible. For Aemon may have been born a Waters, but he was, and will always be... A Targaryen... ~~~~~~~~~~~ ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, I OWN NOTHING EXCEPT MY OCs.

House Targaryen were once closer to Gods than men. They flew great fire breathing Dragons across the skies, and soldified their will through Fire and Blood. But those days...were long gone... Now the Targaryens were only Dragons in name, and very truly were considered Dragons... Such was the case of Baelor "Breakspear", who was the Heir to the Iron Throne. Baelor was seen as the perfect heir for King Daeron "The Good", and a true example of what a Prince should be. He was Chivalrous, honourable, kind, and overall a good man, and most saw him as an exception to the rule that said all Targaryens eventually went mad and insane, and when Baelor sired his first son...most assumed he would inherit the Targaryen madness... But as he grew up, Prince Aenys Targaryen, the older brother of Prince Valarr and Prince Matarys, proved everyone false in their assumptions. Aenys may have inherited the Targaryen long white hair and purple eyes, but his personality was far from that of an entitled Prince. Having spent nine years squiring for a Hedge Knight, Ser Rodrik Stone, the bastard son of Lord Donnel Arryn, Aenys grew up understanding just how easy the Royal family had it, and grew increasingly humble and confident, rather than developing the infamous arrogance most Targaryens were cursed with. When he returned, his grandfather knighted him, and the boy immediately travelled to Pentos at just sixteen name days. There, he encountered and defeated Aegor "Bittersteel" Rivers, managing to reclaim Blackfyre for his family, earning him the nickname "Last Stand", even if it did cost him an eye... However, Aenys understood just how fragile Targaryen rule really was without the Dragons, and as such, sought to increase the Crown's popularity by attending different events alongside his father as the King's representatives, and the latest event they had to attend...was a Tourney. At Ashford Meadow... ~~~~~ ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS. I OWN NOTHING EXCEPT MY OC.

Rebellions...are often built on either lies, misfortunes, or spite. And in the case of the Blackfyre Rebellions...it was all three. When King Aegon "The Unworthy" not only sired, but legitimised Daemon I Blackfyre, along with gifting Daemon the ancestral sword Blackfyre from where Daemon got his name, it sent ripples throughout the Seven Kingdoms. And these ripples, went from mere whispers about the legitimacy of the King's trueborn son, Daeron Targaryen, to loud and open shouts that Daemon Blackfyre should be King. After all, he was supposedly everything Daeron was not. A warrior for one, and an honourable man for another. Naturally, these calls were ignored, and so the fire that had been started from Daemon Blackfyre's legitimisation, grew from a small flicker, to a violent bonfire, and war tore through the Seven Kingdoms, as the First Blackfyre rebellion kicked off like a volatile thunderstorm... Unfortunately, this rebellion was doomed from the start, despite its promising beginnings, and Daemon was killed at the battle of the Redgrass field, leading his forces, which included Aegor "Bittersteel" Rivers, to flee to Essos and try to rebuild what they had lost... Four more times the Blackfyres rebelled, and four more times were they defeated and repelled from the Seven Kingdoms, with each rebellion that came after the first one, becoming more and more desperate and bleak. And it all culminated, with the death of Maelys "The Monstrous" Blackfyre in the Stepstones in 260 AC, because after that, the Blackfyres were all but forgotten, their house seemingly destroyed... But what if it wasn't?... What if some Blackfyres still remained? And what would happen, if these last living Blackfyres, encountered Daenerys Targaryen? The Daughter of the Mad King, who had also been forced into exile?... This is the story, of Daemon V Blackfyre...the Black Dragon Reborn... ~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING, ONLY MY OCs. "Your Highness, as someone who comes from two important bloodlines, I understand the pressure laid upon you better than most," "Are any of them royal, Ser?" "In their own way, Princess. Both have legacies, both are proud, and both are known for their stubbornness," "They sound a lot like my House, Ser." "Oh trust me, Princess, they are more alike than you realise..." ~~~~ Grudges, can last far longer than any mortal, and are carried down bloodlines in the form of stories and songs. Such is the case of Dorne and House Targaryen, since Dorne not only resisted Aegon The Conqueror and his Dragons, but managed to kill Queen Rhaenys Targaryen and her Dragon, Meraxes, with a deadly Scorpion bolt that struck Meraxes in the eye, and caused both Meraxes and Rhaenys to fall to their deaths. Since then, Dorne has fiercely resisted any attempt at unification with the other six Kingdoms, and has repeatedly refused to bend the knee to House Targaryen, resulting in tense relations that have existed ever since Aegon's time. However, Jaehaerys Targaryen "The Conciliator", saw the tensions as unnecessary and needless, and as such, sent his son and heir, Aemon, to Sunspear as an envoy and as a sign of trust. Unfortunately, the negotiations didn't turn out as expected, but one thing that DID happen, was Prince Aemon finding love...in the arms of the Princess of Dorne, Princess Mara Martell... Despite the fact that Aemon was already married and had a daughter, the Prince and Princess truly did love each other, but in the end...Mara saw how much it hurt Aemon to choose between her and his wife. So, Mara made the decision to be the one who let him go, and allowed him to leave Dorne to return to his family. And though Aemon had left, the love between them never stopped burning, and from that love...came a child. Maegor Sand Maegor the Unbroken The Dornish Dragon ~~~~~ I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING.
