He is the oldest of the black wolves, cursed to eternal existence as both man and beast. The most dangerous of them. The most feared. And once, the emptiest, having long forgotten his past, his birthplace, even his very name. A shell of a man. A beast starving in many ways and all the more vicious for it until a girl faced his teeth unflinchingly while filling his heart with hunger. Her story of their life together has been told, and now it is time for his. The black wolf speaks... This is a companion novella to Wolf's Wife, Wolf's Bane, and Wolf's Kin written from Colton's point of view. Some of the scenes will be retold through him and some will be entirely new.

Lori Mayer is failing out of law school (again), her boyfriend just ran off with her best study partner (she was really going to miss Karl - he took great notes), and she's all out of coffee. However bleak everything seems now, she'll soon discover life can get a whole lot crazier when she meets a drop-dead gorgeous love god named Des who's determined to change her life. Before she can blink, Lori is sent to a whole different world - a place where cell phones don't exist and her iPad is about as useful as a frisbee. A place where hot immortals, savage werewolves, and everything else under the sun runs wild. In this place of warrior kings and sword-wielding guards she will come face-to-face with her soul-mate, but can Lori resist her attraction to Eric McKenna, the ridiculously sexy king of the immortals, and return to her own world, where everything makes sense and places like Wolfgard only exist in books? Not if Des has anything to do with it. He may be cursed to help mortal women find their true loves but it's his game, and in this game of hearts only one thing matters: Sealing the deal. Lori Mayer doesn't stand a chance. **Copyrighted Material: Catch, Curse, Release (formerly entitled Love Bites) Copyright © Wendy Nelson 2012 All Rights Reserved. Seven years have passed since Regan lost the love of her life. During that time, she found solace raising her three children, sequestering herself in the country and away from the talk and bustle of society. But now her eldest daughter is beginning her own search for a husband, and Regan finds herself drawn back into the public eye after so many - too many - years away. She meets Thomas Cranmer, a young - too young - and handsome gentleman who should have his attentions focused on other women, women lacking the age and grief she earned as a widow and mother. Yet he seeks her out, winning her over with his smiles and wit, reminding her of what it is to be a woman, and a desirable one at that. But when secrets are revealed and her respectability threatened, Regan discovers there is life beyond grief, and that perhaps it is possible to find love a second time...

This time around the story concentrates on Fin and Victoria and their ill-fated mate pairing. Unaware of Fin, Victoria suffering under a father who hates her very existence and starved of affection, Victoria has a dalliance with another male and Fin discovers this. The male in question was his twin brother Grey. This led to Fin abandoning his pack, rejecting Victoria and embarking on a path designed to punish her by sleeping carelessly with as many females as possible. Events in Grey's Tribute have brought them together, and Fin claims Victoria as his mate while still hating the very essence of her being. However, the Moon will have her way, and she wants these two together whether they will it or not. Victoria is forced to confront every demon she buried deep down in her fight for survival since birth. The main one being that her wolf is more feral than others, unwilling to bend to any and with a hunger to rule more territory. Her wolf's disrespect to his authority will force Fin to remind her of her place. Fin himself struggles with the past Victoria shares with his twin and the fact that it forced him to denounce his full potential as the most dominant alpha of the four packs around. Her wolf's challenge to his status will push Fin into accepting all that he is and could be, and in turn what they can be together. Unfortunately, his feelings for her are harder to change, and his struggle to forgive and forget will impact heavily upon their relationship. An emerging empire, omens of death and the two most dominant wolves compelled by fate to be together with or without their permission leads to an absolute rollercoaster of a story. I did not think I could feel more than I did reading this book. These characters are complicated and while they project an image of indestructibility to those in their world, reading this will show you that those who appear strong may have the hardest battle against their own weaknesses. Thank you @Chortle for the great summary.

Alice is twenty-four, far old enough to know that a change of scenery can't repair the cracks in a relationship long strained. But when her lover insists on a trip to a remote cabin to get away and recharge, Alice agrees... and discovers that among the beasts of the forest, there is one that shouldn't exist and yet does: a wolf that changes into a man and a man who changes into a wolf. He's savage, suspicious, and feral. And he's as undeniably interested in her as she is in him... Wolf's Wife is an erotic paranormal romance. This is the complete and full version, NOT a sample. It's just very short compared to its sequels.

Lydia Hunt is familiar with the concept of sin. Reared beneath the strictures of religious zealotry and abuse, she has heard again and again that her nature is wicked and her soul bound for eternal damnation. But when she is sent to work at Mowbray Hall, ancestral home of the enigmatic Lord Cailvairt, Lydia begins to fear just how wicked she might be. For although Cailvairt makes no effort to hide his pursuit of her, his insistence on challenging the ideals imposed upon her as a child―even while speaking to her as an equal―leaves it difficult for Lydia to resist his attentions. As her inhibitions crumble away and the foundation of her beliefs threatens to falter, she must determine if giving into temptation will destroy her... or be the act that saves her. ~ The first three full chapters are available here on Wattpad. Sophia has sacrificed everything for her younger sister, Lucy. She has removed them from the only home they ever knew, taken on the care of Lucy's illegitimate son, George, and even assumed the role of a widow and mother in order to erase all hint of scandal from the boy's birth. But rumor continues to follow them like the darkest of clouds, and Sophia must adapt to her new existence as a false widow with no prospects beyond the doors of her small cottage. Lord Haughton - "Finn" to those close to him - will stop at nothing to prevent the slightest whiff of disgrace from tainting his family's name. When he learns of his younger brother's latest indiscretion-one that leaves a bastard child in his wake-Haughton rushes across the country to offer the boy's mother a comfortable living in exchange for her silence about the child's true parentage. But he arrives only to have his generous offer thrown back in his face by Sophia Brixton, a sharp-tongued and sharper-witted woman who proceeds to toss him out of her house. But just because he is banished from her home does not mean he is so easily banished from her life.
