Reagan Evans happens to sit next to Chandler Riggs on the bus and they kiss n stuff (This is a small summary of what happens and the lack of imagery and supporting details is a pattern throughout the story so that's fun. This is a play I have been writing in school, but I am changing it into a book. It is based off of The Walking Dead, but my version. Still, some of the characters, and others are just added in. A zombie apocalypse occurred and now a group of people will have to go through the trials of terror, guilt, and hidden secrets. Even though some friendship may be going throughout the group, betrayal still lurks deep within their lies.

Sammy, a young teen, is alone. The world is over run by the dead, decaying, flesh eaters. There is no escape, nowhere to run. Running from death, she stumbles upon a prison. In this prison, she finds a boy. This boy would change her life for better or for worse.

He starts to head out the door and I follow. His eyes follow mine as he opens the door, and holds it. "Quite the gentleman." I point out. He laughs and shrugs before answering me. "I try." He chuckles a bit more and it causes me to smile again. The boy catches up to where I'm walking. "I'm Carl by the way." He says, looking over at me.
