Rainie Harper was like every other wolf who dreamed of finding her mate. A mate who loved her and made her smile with every word he spoke. A mate who would always be there with a hand to brush her tears away and open arms that felt like home. Rainie did not expect to discover that her mate was none other than Mason Vermont. The school's very own jerk. Everyone knew what he was like. He was not only a player, but a heartbreaker. Mason doesn't want a mate and he certainly doesn't want Rainie. So he does the only thing he knows he can - he rejects her.

Ally Summers is on her own. Not forcibly, basically just because her mother drives her insane, and her dad isn't any help. After graduating college with a degree in Photography, she sets out to tour the world, or, well, the country. Maybe just the province. It depends on how far her money can stretch, and how long her beat up 1967 Station Wagon can last. Her curiosity has gotten her into tough situations before, but never this bad. Nope. Not even close. This time, she's stumbled onto an attempted murder. Of an Alpha. Of her mate.

I watched the two morons argue before me. If I must say, that Canadian dude was really getting on my nerves. How could he ever expect me to leave my pack in Minnesota to go to Canada with him? Oh, that’s right, my great great great great, did I say great? Well, great grandparents were born there. Big whoop. “Listen, Addie-“ Scott was saying. “Its Adolph, you American fool!” The Canadian dude corrected him. “Oh, so like Hitler?” I asked. “No, It means noble wolf! Look, Ana, you must come away with me!” “She’s not going anywhere with you!” Scott interrupted. “Exactly, dude, we’re still in America, a free country. I don’t have to go anywhere with you. Therefore, thy shall kiss my arsenic sulfide! I’m staying in Minnesota, and there isn’t anything you can do about it!” I shouted at him. Boy was I wrong… There was plenty that he could do about it… Like, lets say, WAR! Its all games now…
