The war is over. Demise is gone. The sky no longer binds the world. For Link, that silence is terrifying. Set shortly after The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, this story follows Link as he tries to build a home on the Surface for Zelda; hoping that if he keeps his hands busy and his future planned, the memories of war will stay quiet. They don't. Haunted by nightmares, flashbacks, and a voice that refuses to stay buried, Link struggles to adjust to a life without prophecy or battle. Zelda sees the cracks forming long before he does-and refuses to let him face them alone. This is a slow, intimate story about healing after trauma, love after destiny, and learning how to live once the hero's journey is over.

It's been 5 years since the end of the Calamity, and all is well in Hyrule. Zelda and Link have settled comfortably into their new lives - Zelda as Queen, and Link as her right hand. But when a marriage offer arrives from a nearby Kingdom, they will both have to decide what it is they each truly want... for themselves, and for the future of Hyrule. ~ ~ ~ Post-BOTW, Zelink, short and fluffy, from both Zelda and Link's POV. Stayed in-universe and in-character (or what I consider to be in-character, though opinions may differ). (Special commission for Alana and Bri - Hope you enjoy!)

Link, the Hero of Hyrule, has just learned of Princess Zelda's fate after seeing the final dragon tear. Overcome with grief, he sets out to seek a legendary power, one he believes will guarantee Hyrule's victory...and his revenge. But will he lose himself in the process? A HUGE thank you and shout out to @fire_bird_ana for making the cover art for this fan fic! She has some incredible LOZ art you should check out, as well as her own fan fic that I highly recommend. Author's note: This story takes place during Tears of the Kingdom, right after Link discovers the last of the dragon tears. It combines elements from that story, in addition to some of my other favorite Legend of Zelda games. Though I generally try to stay true to lore, at times I made adjustments to help things flow. I don't claim to be a professional author or Legend of Zelda expert, I just wrote a story that I would enjoy. *I do not own any characters used in this story. All rights to Nintendo. *The pictures before each chapter are screen shots from Tears of the Kingdom.

Once upon a time there was a Princess who found her sacred Power. In order to seal her enemy away, she gave up her freedom and imprisoned herself with the Great Beast of Calamity within the Hyrule Castle. With each passing year the Princess defense go weaker, and she was left no chose but to dance like a puppet to the tune set by the whims of her sadistic capture. One day a Hero come to fight the Beast seeking to save the Princess. However, there was no way the Hero could attain the victory. For the Hero was unaware that he himself was a puppet that had been created and controlled by an invisible hand. *** A story spanning the period between the events of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, it will consist of 3 books: Wisdom, Power, and Courage. There will be minimal deviations from the canon (as much as possible), with maximum references to all the games in the series. I am currently in the process of writing this work in Russian, so I will gradually share the English translation here as I progress. All artwork belongs to me.
