She's transferred from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts on a mission of sorts, to fix some cabinet where somehow once fixed, all will be well. What wasn't mentioned is how Draco Malfoy has the same task as she. all rights go to JK Rowling and some of these characters / plot lines belong to her
