Running back wood trails usually meant freedom, but waking up bound to a dirty pin striped mattress, seventeen year old Samantha's world is anything but free. With a masked abductor reassuring her while he repeatedly injects her arm, she is terrified by his promise: one day she'll fall in love with him realizing too late who he truly is. Walling her heart proves difficult when eighteen year old Blake moves in next door and she discovers she may be more damaged than she'd thought. Her body's changing. She must unearth the truth behind the monster or risk experiencing worse things than just falling in love.

"My eyes fluttered open. The white surrounding was out of focus and my head hurt so much my vision started to blur. But I saw that tall frame standing up, half wanting to rush to me, the other half so reluctantly taking really small steps. He finally reached me. My conscious told me to be afraid of the stranger. But something inside me said otherwise. I tried to sit up but the wires kept holding me back down. I surrendered eventually, lying again motionless, curled up in the white blanket, feeling so small and fragile. He gently took hold of my hand and smiled. I know those bleeps were counting down my lifetime, but he was looking at me like I would live for infinity."

Walkers aren't the only thing who tear people apart. Electra Walsh knew that, she knew that better than anybody. It has been approximately 300 days since all hell broke lose on earth, or in other words, since the dead started walking. It has been approximately 217 days since Electra Walsh lost herself, since she was pushed off of that edge and came crashing down to the bottom of her own humanity, if you could even call it that. It had been approximately 217 days since Electra Walsh lost those who she loved dearest. But, with new threats awry there has never been a more important time for Electra to be on top her game and integrate in the Atlanta Survivor Group again...for her sake and for theirs. -Disclaimer- Obviously, I do not own ‘The Walking Dead’, any characters associated with ‘The Walking Dead’ or it’s story line.
