It ends when the beloved returns their feelings, or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love and memories also disappear. The symptoms of the disease are summarized to strong pain, having flowers blooming in the heart and lungs, and then throwing them up. The disease begins with coughing up a few petals and growing in intensity (and pain) until the victim is vomiting entire flowers, by which point the disease has entered its final stages... Well, to a certain extent that is. How do you he'd mix with the strict, studious, and sheltered enigma that is Toya Aoyagi? Better than you'd think actually. You could say he even finds himself a new addiction. -AUTHORS NOTE I wrote this back in September of last year and am just now getting around to publishing it, haha. I've been busy with other stuff and started a bunch of different drafts and projects that I sort of forgot. I hope this story will bring you some enjoyment, though, as I really enjoyed it myself. I love the 1980s akitoya AU (That's not saying much because I love most akitoya AUs lmao) and I'm so fascinated by it that I dare to write another story involving it.
