What's the worst that could happen if you hit your head: a scar? humiliation? Hah, you guys have it easy. You see, a while ago, I made the mistake of taking a midnight excursion in the town cemetery, which, sadly, is my hangout of choice. I ended up on the run from a couple of psychos who thought they were demon hunters. Trying to save my ass, I knocked myself out when my skull collided with a tree limb. When I came to, I was surrounded by ghosts. Not the cool, horror-movie types. No, I got stuck with the lame, flirty, obnoxious ones. Being the trouble-magnet that I am, I'd somehow fulfilled an age-old prophecy, and the title of 'Keeper' was thrust upon me. So now, I have to deal with ghosts, killer migraines, other creatures of the night AND school!! Great! The question remains: Will I ever get to live a normal-ish life again? Will the undead stop being so annoying? Why was I chosen in the first place? And why am I making my life sound like a cheesy sit-com? Well, I, Riverbrook Simons, Keeper of the Somerville Cemetery, invite you to the town of Somerville, where all the weird stuff happens. Welcome to my not-so-ordinary teenage life. Happy haunting!

A collection of paranormal, horror and fantasy short stories woven around old legends, odd characters, the occasional werewolf and the darkness within, some of which have been published or picked up the odd award. There are things you cannot see unless they want to be seen, and some legends linger on despite the modern world. A Gift in the Dark is a compilation of short works, many based around old myths and legends, and starts with a tale of a miner's descent into madness, history and legend, drifts through darkness, past a retelling of Red Riding Hood, up a crane, and along to the end of the world.

“The most startling discovery to never be made.” Some conspiracies remain theories. Others become obsessions. Exhumed 100 years after their penning, the Lost DMB Files will reinterpret the way you see the world, or the way it sees you. Product Description: Dime novelist and pulp fiction writer, David Mark Brown, mysteriously disappeared during the 1930’s. Until recently, his obscure writings had all but been forgotten. Violent conspiracy theorists contend his fiction preserves a secret history, a history able to reclaim our future, if the war it unleashes doesn’t destroy us in the process. Please support the cause!
