Everyone has heard of Maleficent and Hades, however few know about their youth that led to their upcoming hatred years later. Hades is a new student at Merlin Academy, being sent there to observe the population before redeeming his role as the god of the underworld. He catches the eye of Uliana, the leader of the evil friend group who tasks Maleficent to eavesdrop into his conversation to acquire information about the new student. Hades immediately falls in love with Maleficents confidence, and wants nothing but to be around her at all times while she enjoys his company and the attention of the future god. This is not associated with Disney and Disney Channel.

Maleficent and Hades relationship from when they met in high school to when Mal gets off the isle. Plus some fixing of continuity issues in the descendants universe. (Also they will not be getting divorced in this story because frankly I don't know why the hell they broke up to begin with!)

Sooooo I am absolutely obsessed with the short amount of screen time that we have of Hades and Maleficent in The Rise of Red! Furthermore, while I figure this out, it will be the same plot, but my main focus will be more on the villain's as kids rather than their kids.
