I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. It's been 10 years since the Great Anthro War ended and many people are still trying to move on. Trent Gallows codenamed: "Trigger" played critical roles in defending the U.S.A from the Anthro threat earning quite a reputation amongst both sides. To the Humans, he's a War Hero who could get the job done so long as you follow him. To the Anthros, he's a monster who can't be killed, earning him the Title "Three Strikes" due to him downing entire squadrons on his own. But in order to fight an unknown threat Trigger and his new fighter squadron "Viper" will have to fly beside their former enemies' wings to defend the fragile peace between humans and anthros. We take the point of view of a human with great respect for his duty as a soldier to protect those in need, he manages to enter this world. Surprisingly for the Anthros, this human was different, he treated them as equals, worth of breathing unlike the rest of the humans, without knowing that he would be part of their salvation in the future. However, during his..little adventure, he encounters several people that could consider friends, and more. Some female anthros, not able to resist his charm, would have to survive their attraction towards him.

With death seemly inevitable, he makes one final stand against his enemies sacrificing himself for the fatherland. When an explosion engulfs him, instead of dying, he is sent beyond even his own consciousness to a new realm. He now finds himself on an unlikely journey into a world of beast.
