Embry decides to take her own life because of many reasons. One of them being her mother, another is the out-of-this-world people she sees. But what she doesn't know is that it affected someone else, and Embry has invited the people to his front door step. *** "You ruined everything." His hand grabs my throat. "You will pay for the price of killing, my dear." He looks like he's having a hard time to speak, and his movements are inhuman. The blood from his nose drops onto my shirt. I frown in disgust. What have I gotten myself into?

Jacobson is a soldier. He works for his government, called The Regrime. Every boy is drafted at age 16 to fight in the War. Jacobson fought 4 years in the war, then came back home. To his parents, and his little brother Jack. The next time Jacobson would leave for war again, so would Jack. That's when things in Jacobson's life become twisted and dark.
