Shortly after the Second War, Percy's not-so-little secret comes out: he's not straight. Chased by the Romans who've been won over and led by Octavian, he flees to the Isle of Shadows, where Nico currently resides. Together, they discover another plot to bring down the demigod camps, and eventually strike down the gods, yada yada yada. Will the forces of evil just take a freaking break!? [[edit: set after Blood of Olympus, except Annabeth and Percy stay at camp, and Nico doesn't. Also, this was written before BoO, so things are a little au.]]

Elliot is, and has always been, stuck in his home town. Sure, it's a fairly large city. Sure, all his family and friends are there. Sure, he has a job he absolutely adores. But he still isn't happy. No matter how much he loves working in Auntie Mae's Tea shop, baking cakes day in and day out, he can't find it in himself to be happy. He knows exactly what's wrong; he has a dream. His dream is to one day move to Paris and open his own bakery. Baking is his passion, and he wants to devote his life to it. The only problem is that he can't seem to get away from his current life to start a new one. He once told himself his studies were holding him back. When he was done with those, he used the excuse of renovating the entire Tea Shop. Then, when he finally couldn't find any more excuses, he gave up. He knew he was waiting for something to happen. The problem? He didn't know what. But what about that man who recently started visiting the shop? He definitely wasn't one of the regulars; his face, you would recognize. He comes every evening at six o'clock, and stays for an hour. Could he be what Elliot is waiting for? *Deals with self-esteem issues which I've been told might be triggering*

With his pride and her prejudice, what could possibly go wrong? When the arrogant Blake Hansen steals Addie Preston's promotion at the library, he pretty much rubs her nose in it. But Addie, who dreams of being a full-fledged librarian, decides to stick it out. She loves surrounding herself with books and keeping her father's memory alive in the building where they spent so much time together. Soon, Addie learns that her beloved library will be torn down to make room for a larger facility, and she has to make a choice. Fight, or let go? To complicate things, she finds herself attracted to Blake, who is engaged to someone else. Will Blake and Addie ever resolve their differences? This is a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice, with hints of the other Jane Austen books as well.

But then he opts to sign up for the Remnants of Men, a government sanctioned search for a rumoured fresh water lake beyond a radiated wasteland. At first, it seemed like a second chance to a new life, the transformation from zero to hero. But after an encounter with a rabid gang of men suffering an acute insanity, he soon comes to understand that he is one of many discarded into the wasteland to study the cannibalistic effects of a new drug called the Sixth Sense. Olivia Patterson has had one too many doses of the Sixth Sense and owes a massive debt to a shadowy rebel and loan shark called Death-Throe. Being the daughter of the City's dictator, she knows too well that the gallows awaits any who associates with the rebel. In an attempt to free herself, she acquires an asset in the form of Runner and finds herself always at the edge, for if he survives it means freedom for both, but if he dies...
