Klaus and his Brother Elijah are 1000 year old vampires {the originals} who had made a home in New Orleans in the 20's but we're ran out by their father who wanted to kill klaus because her mother had an affair with a werewolf ,making Klaus, a hybrid {half vampire, half werewolf} and not his son. an abomination to nature. Later Klaus killed his father {a vampire hunter} and had a one night stand with a werewolf named Hailey, little did he know, he could now procreate. Hailey was in New Orleans and some witches drew out klaus there (with his brother Elijah) and told him the news about her child , THEIR child and in order to keep the baby safe from them, the witches wanted klaus to do something in return. And that's how klaus and his brother,Elijah, came to New Orleans . What will happen when They all meet, will klaus OR Elijah fall for Renessmae ? what will happen to Hailey?
