Entry for the Sci-Fi Smackdown Nikaya was having a hard time getting over her husband, Morton. It didn’t help that he was no longer the man he used to be, or that the law was against them continuing their relationship. Not sure how she feels about him now, Nikaya takes refuge in the law, but then everything changes. * * * * The four pictures I chose are 1. Metal angels. 2. City framed by the moon. 3. Pyramid with circuits. 4. Building landscape (TreToria)  A/N: For those of you not familiar with the Smackdown, contestants choose four pictures from a selection of eight, and write a short story around the pictures they chose within a two week time limit.

My entry for round one of the Science Fiction smackdown. Pictures used: 3: Giant robot knight 4: Anime girl 5: "Angel" robots. 6: Moon behind city with water in front As a note to those unfamiliar with the smackdown: The Wattpad Science Fiction Smackdown is hosted by the joint account ForbiddenPlanet. The idea of this round was that each contestant was to pick four pictures out of eight posted in a discussion, and encorporate them into a science fiction short story with 2000-6000 words. The pictures I used are on the side in a slideshow.
