Leo Valdez has been at camp for three years since the battle with Gaia, and everything has gone downhill. Calypso has left, his friends are happy, the Camp has become repetitive, and all Leo can do is wallow in his turning memories and fight the thought of fleeing. But when a mysterious girl comes to Camp, he soon finds out that Camp is a lot more comforting than what awaits him.

Original idea by @witch_named_willow where they had this concept but with Sunny. What if Morrowseer lost the nightwing egg? Who would his replacement be? What would Starflight be like if he was never given that name, grew up outside and away from any guardians and volcanoes, without any friends or siblings, born under all three moons, and (arguably) most importantly; no scrolls? Would he even be able to scrape by? And what about the Dragonets of Destiny? Who would they get instead of the intelligent scroll worm?

What if Starflight was tortured when he was on the Nightwing Island? What if some of his friends thinks he's a traitor? What if Fatespeaker isn't that kind dragon instead she want Starflight to die so she can be the prophecy dragonet? Will he want to continue the fight or he's too broken for it?
