Welcome to the wonderful world of writing on Wattpad! This is Wattpad, not the Olympics, so there's no need to panic. Anyone can try it, no training required. Writing doesn't have to be complicated, and you don't have to be a graduate of some fancy university, but there are a few guidelines that will make things easier for you and your readers. I have tips for beginners who paid as little attention in English as I did, as well as details on things I've learned over the years. Anyone can write a story. I never thought I would write anything, but I tried it and - much to my surprise - I found it very relaxing and entertaining. Feel free to skip around the chapters to find sections that interest you. You are also welcome to skim everything in case you find a hidden gem of advice. Please note that my writing tips follow the Chicago Manual of Style writing guide (you are free to use a different guide - keeping things consistent is the biggest thing).

Highest Rank: #1 in Non-Fiction [14.08.16] I'm sure many of us have typed in 'How to get more reads' or 'How to get more votes' into Wattpad's search bar at one point or another and been bombarded with books. However when you read them.. Well they all seem to be the same. There may be a reason for that, those books preach the important points however I am here to maybe give you some tips you've never heard before. I can make no promises to give original ideas, I haven't read every 'How to get more reads..' book on Wattpad. But this is a informative guide on how to finally boost that read count and hopefully become the next big writer on Wattpad!

I am SomeGuy. People have enjoyed reading my chapters across all my fics for some reason, and I saw that a handful of my readers were people either interested in writing or already writers, so I decided to make this to help everyone else out. I'm not a professional writer though, and some of these things might not apply to you, so take some of my tips with a grain of salt. Writing isn't as easy as people think, and I would know, 'cause I thought this would be easier than it actually turned out being. I've been writing for a few years now, but it's still hard at times, and it probably won't get any easier. I doubt this book will change much for you, but I still want to make life easier even by a little bit. This will include writing advice, tips and stuff. Let's cook together, chat.
