It only takes thirty sunless days in a twelve by twelve foot cell for the color to leech from her memories; the further six hundred and ten are just salt in the wound for nineteen-year-old Stephanie Armstrong. Her perception has been warped beyond belief, and what she once knew is no longer certain. Released back into a chaotic world, she has to relearn harsh truths and rediscover herself in the process. However, the world she left twenty-one months ago has changed irrevocably and it's thrown her into the center of one of the most dangerous situations she's ever faced. With everything having been turned on its head, Stephanie has to begin to realize that she's not the only one who's changed in the past two years. Reconciling the people she had once known with the superstars, criminals and misfits they are now is only the beginning of the story.

Life in Berk has changed dramatically since the dragons moved in, but things are not as peaceful as they might appear. With fires, food shortages and dragon dung all over the village, it is up to Hiccup and his friends to bring the wild dragons under their control. They have until Thor's feast to complete their mission, or risk having dragons kicked out of Berk for good!
