Once upon a time, a story was written, but never said. It was neither a love story, nor a tragedy, but a story nevertheless. They were not lovers. They were husband and wife. Husband and wife do not love, they co-exist , and sometimes, they pro-create. Thus their story was buried under the dirt of time, weighed down by the tears till the lamenting winds came to clear away the dirt and the leaves covering it. A multitude of emotions were uncovered. A historical fiction. An epistolary novel. Two souls brought together by fate, separated by the conflicts of the world. Some things are greater than the love between two individuals. Some conflicts are larger than the heart.

Scorpius Malfoy, son of Draco Malfoy, restored his family's status in the Wizarding World using his wit and charms in Hogwarts. The dark days are over now. But that doesn't mean that the Gryffindor-Slytherin hatred vanished. They still competed in academics and sports. Scorpius grew up to be the cleverest in their year. No, wait. He wasn't the cleverest. Rose Weasley, daughter of Ron and Hermione Weasley, was also gunning for that title. Both of them had been neck and neck in everything. They always badgered and got on each other's nerves. But there was a silent attraction that both of them knew, though none of them spoke about. It wasn't until in their fifth year in Hogwarts that Scorpius realized just how much 'serious' this silent attraction could be. And he would do everything to stop himself for falling for the enemy. The question now was, could he? Life was hard. But life was harder when you fall in love with someone you shouldn't.

Life had never been easy, but I had never wanted it to be. Changing my looks, my attitude, the way I walked, it was invigorating; it was something I couldn't live without. My personality changed, my lifestyle changed, but that was all part of the job. What I never expected was being thrown in blind, with no clue as to who my enemies were, who my friends were, and worse, who to trust. ***Cover by Eyekandi***

| SAMPLE ONLY; READ IT NOW ON GALATEA | ❝He's the boy she left behind. She's the girl he let go.❞ ➵ Before she became one of music's biggest up-and-coming artists, Evelyn "Evie" Chase was a nobody at the bottom of the Roosevelt High School food chain with only a handful of friends. Her best friend (and longtime crush)--popular jock, Adam Fields--was her polar opposite, but despite their differences, their bond was as strong as they come. That is, until one day-- one mistake--changed the course of their friendship forever, and the once inseparable duo never spoke again. Fast forward three years, and everything's changed. Evie has the world at her feet, now out in L.A. living her dream as a seventeen-year-old popstar-- leaving the town, the boy who broke her heart, and those who'd made high school unbearable behind. Meanwhile, Adam--at Roosevelt finishing off senior year and still the school (and town's) beloved "golden boy"--is trying his hardest to let go of the past and the girl he let get away. And it's going well, the two of them living their separate lives. Until Evie's back. Suddenly, seventeen and senior year just got a lot more interesting.
