The world went to sh*t. The outbreak started and everyone either died or became something that most people weren't proud of. But one person maintained their kind nature while becoming strong enough to survive. Taylor Grimes, the queen of hearts. She became the most feared and respected people to roam the earth. She will live on, even when she goes. Author's note: There is another book that is connected to this one in the Dead World. It is Little Old Me? (Fear The Walking Dead). It follows Harper Dixon, who will appear at the end Act 3-Act 5. Taylor and other OCs might make an appearance in there. You don't have to read it to understand this book, but if you want more context on Harper's backstory and what happens to her after act 5, there it is.

Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.

She was immense. Six foot three, maybe taller, with shoulders that could rival a linebacker's. Her arms were thick with corded muscle and the most striking thing was the network of scars that laced her skin. Some were thin and silvery, others thick and puckered, a roadmap of old battles and harsh encounters. The most astonishing one was the one on her face. Bellona Hart, a thirty-year-old veteran, wasn't deaf, but sign language was how she communicated with the world. It wasn't because she had nothing to say. It was more so that the Seals taught her to keep her mouth shut on any kind of information, and after eight years of doing that, she decided that keeping quiet was easier.
