A Dark Harry. Basically this book is a revision of the original. I feel like the very idea that a abuse, neglected child who was shy and just wanted to please his guardians, coming to a scary new world and suddenly feel brave and brash, unrealistic. The whole idea of him completely changing his character just because he was in a specific house is ludicrous. And even if he had been a Gryffindor (which is completely unlikely) he would have still been a Slytherin at heart. This is my version of how the events might have gone.

Minerva McGonagall goes to check on little Harry Potter and finds that all is not as it should be. She steps in and makes a choice that will change everything for the boy who lived. And it just may change the course of history for the wizarding world as well.
