This is a mature girlxgirl story. I would highly recommend reading I Hate You & Oh, My, Addison first, however this can be read as a standalone novel. Blaire Felt moved to Oregon State University four years ago after graduating from Kingsley High School. Of course, that meant separating from her best friends just so she could journey by herself in a completely new state. Instead of rejuvenation, Blaire was met with heartache as she walked in on her boyfriend of a year cheating on her with her roommate. Therefore, her friends decide to spoil her on a trip to forget in the city that never sleeps - Las Vegas. Five luxurious days to bond with her friends after years and potentially make some wrong decisions along the way. However, Blaire can't help but cherish the quick moments she had with a gambling stranger at a Blackjack table. Ready to risk it all, even if it meant snubbing her friends a bit - Blaire was determined to find herself during her five days in Vegas, especially if it meant getting to know the beautiful, green-eyed girl that bet way too much money a hand. Because what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas - right?

"Avery, meet John and his daughter Mia." I greeted John kindly since my mom likes him apparently. Still don't really approve of him but if she does then I guess I will try to as well. "Mia, go on and greet them don't just ignore them because your mad about this." I looked at Mia and right then she looked at me. We locked eyes and all I could feel was a rush of excitement and thrill. Oh no.. "What's up with her? Does she have a disability? Why is she just staring at me..?" John smacked Mia on the back of her head because of her disrespect. She groaned in return. "I'm so sorry about that, Avery. Just ignore what she said and please try to get along. Both of you." I paid no mind to his words since all that was coursing through my mind was one word. Mate.

My name is Florence Macht and in a certain bizarre and wicked way, you could say that I am special. Maybe, Different. In another way, you could say that I'm cursed, which is exactly what I am. Unfortunately, I have never been capable of telling the truth. I physically can't and there's no exaggerations there; I always tell the opposite of what really happened. I lie. So when my girlfriend of two years, asked me if I cheated on her. I said yes. --------------------------------------------------------- Copyright ©2020 Shadowheart1000. This book may NOT be reproduced, reposted, copied, or translated in any way unless you receive permission directly from the author. Felicity Rose Bennett has everything the world thinks she wants-chart-topping songs, magazine covers, fans who call her perfect. But the world doesn't know she's hiding. Burned out, suffocated by fame, and haunted by a stalker no one else knows about, Felicity flees to her mothers' quiet Toronto lake house just to breathe for the first time in years. She doesn't expect Harriet Johnson to walk through the door with a suitcase and a key. Harriet has spent the last four years running from her past-alcohol addiction, heartbreak, and the memory of the only girl she's ever loved. Sober now and fighting her way through med school, she only wanted a quiet summer. She didn't know Felicity would be here. She didn't know that sharing a roof again would feel like falling into a storm she thought she'd survived. They were childhood best friends turned teenage lovers-until Harriet broke Felicity's heart in the worst possible way. Now they're twenty-two, trapped by old history and new secrets, in the same house that once held their whispered dreams and first kisses. The deal is simple: her side, my side. But nothing about Felicity and Harriet has ever been simple. Not the history, not the wanting, not the way every look feels like a dare and every brush of skin threatens to set them both on fire. In the thick of July, in a house full of memories, two girls who once had everything will have to decide if second chances are worth the risk-and if loving each other is worth surviving for.

Book 1 of the Adalyne series. The story revolves around a high school teacher Jazmin Valencia and is told in her point of view. She is confident, devoid of emotion and detached from the world, but she prefers to be this way; it's how she survives after having her heart broken. She takes notice of a particular student one day and begins to pour her energy into trying to help the young girl, but in doing so, Jazmin risks the very heart that she has spent so long protecting. When Charlie Miller loses her job the week before both her roommates move to California, she decides it's time to get out of Texas. But with her bank account embarrassingly empty and her newly divorced parents living thousands of miles apart, she doesn't know where to go. And then she remembers Fisher. The small lakeside town in Idaho where she spent every summer until she was eighteen at her uncle's cabin. It's the last place she was truly happy, so the day Gaby and Tay move out, Charlie packs up her car and embarks on the 1,800-mile drive. She has no idea what to expect when she gets there: her uncle sold the cabin six years ago, after all, and the last time she was there she was surrounded by her cousins. This time around she is alone, and she is lonely. When she revisits the old cabin, it's pure nostalgia. Until she is caught by the neighbor. Who just happens to be the most beautiful woman Charlie has ever seen. She is smitten, instantly, and all of a sudden her trip to Fisher has a purpose. The only problem: Lou is almost twenty years older, she has a teenage daughter, and Charlie's pretty sure she's straight. But the more time they spend together, the less sure Charlie is, and when a freak event throws them together, there's only one way to find out. After all, she's only here for two weeks and then she has to figure her life out. She has nothing left to lose. © Elle Carrigan 2023
