Yoonchae had always been great at basketball. She's cocky, snarky and tall! Unfortunately, two months after her last season, her family had to move. And now she's stuck in a catholic school that didn't even have a basketball team. So, okay, fine, she'll do volleyball instead. Oh, she's also stuck with a very salty team captain, Megan Skiendiel. yoonchae and megan are learning that love isn't always easy once the world starts pulling them in different directions. with yoonchae at yale and megan at ucla, distance becomes their new test. sophia, who is now yoonchae's roommate, and with megan finally being surrounded by the people that she is not familiar to. but distance has its own way of testing love. yoonchae becomes distant, and megan starts immersing herself with the things she's passionate about. with new people in each of yoonchae and megan's life, both wonder if the love that they created was even worth it. sometimes we fill the emptiness of our heart, right?
