At just the age of 19 Lucy Chen had her daughter Alanna. Lucy is now 23 and just finished the LAPD police academy, she now has to face her first day as a rookie and juggle being a mom to her 4 year old daughter. I DO NOT OWN THE ROOKIE OR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS

The crew from the station gets together the night before their shared day off, expecting a chill night. Someone throws out the idea of a childish game of Truth or Dare, and things start getting way more intense than anyone planned. Lucy and Tim definitely didn't mean for anything to happen, but Angela , Tim's self-appointed bestie, keeps steering the game in their direction, clearly trying to push them back together... and it's starting to look like her plan might actually work.

Tim and Lucy have been dating for around a year now and everyone knows but what if one day they had a massive argument in the station. Aka : Lucy,Angela and Nyla are all bestie and detectives -the rookie

Lucy's streak of bad luck in love might finally be changing after her psychic tells she'll marry soon, and the person is someone she already knows. Based on the cryptic reading, she's confident her psychic is referring Haley, her ex girlfriend that she never got over. Her best friend, Tim, who has secretly been in love with her for longer than he could ever admit, selflessly agrees to help Lucy reconnect with Haley, knowing doing so will mean losing all hope of ever being with her, but he is sure she'll never love him back, anyways...or so he thinks. Title is lyrics from "The Subway" by Chappell Roan.

Lucy shows up to Tim's house at 12:01 on Christmas Day to sleep with him under the guise of calling it a "gift exchange"; after all, what both of them really want for Christmas is each other.

Lucy can't wait for her newfound freedom as a "normal" graduate school student even though she still has to bring two bodyguards to campus with her per the instructions of the U.S. President (who she calls "mom"). There are plenty of security protocols in place to protect her body, but it turns out her heart is really in danger. Loosely based off of the movie "First Daughter" but more drama/angst (obvs).
