In this AU Rui and Nene are happily together as a couple, already married a couple years (both aged around 24-25 in this AU) and the two are about to celebrate their anniversary but just before any of their dinner plans manage to kick off something tragic happens. Just like in the original story of The Snow Queen, Nene sets off to find her friend Rui who was taken by the Snow Queen. But unlike in the original story, Nene passed by a garden of sunflowers instead of a flower garden, encountered a King instead of pirates, and met two (good) witches instead of an old man.
