G/T Prompt Oneshot: #19: "You're not a monster. Don't listen to them." Content warnings for bullying and self-deprecation due to said bullying. An AU where humans and giants (and, very rarely, half-giants) exist, but don't interact a lot thanks to the division in living sectors. This short story follows a half-giant protagonist, who doesn't really fit on either side of the spectrum. He's closer to the size of a human, so he ends up attending an all-human highschool. Vic lives in the giant world, and is 88 feet tall, average height for his kind. His girlfriend Reagan, also a giantess is at a rather petite 77 feet. Newcomers to their world from earth, "humans" need giant allies like kindhearted Vic and Reagan to assist them in a world not designed for their diminutive human scale... Not all giants are pro-humans though. These much smaller hominids from another realm are considered by many to be an invasive species in the giant world, particularly by a widespread hate group: Giants for the Roundup and Degradation of All Tiny-folk. In her first year of living alone, Grace makes a fatal mistake. She ends up encountering a giant, which the tales have made out to be cruel beasts. "Grace was starting to think that some of the stories she had been told about giants were probably exaggerated. But Grace recognized that she shouldn't jump to such wild conclusions. The giant could still betray her, he could still harm her at a moment's notice. For some reason, Grace still decided to give the giant her name. Part of it was out of fear, but the other part came from a bold, reckless side of her. 'I'm G-Grace.' Aaden smiled. 'That's a beautiful name. Nice to meet you, Grace.'"
