For us SRKajol fans, the 'Jodi' means Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. In my first book 'A love there is no cure for...' I explored a semi-realistic tracking of their relationship as it progresses over the years. It takes incidents from the time that they were shooting for their films together and interweaves some imagined moments of love, intimacy, and romance. It's all written in third person. In Jodi Diaries I've written in first person. To examine their relationship closely, find links with what they have actually said about themselves and each other, about what others have said about them, and build a story around it. This too will take their interaction during film shoots, award functions, joint interviews and appearances and juxtapose reality with some spicy imagination. Some of it is written in past tense, some in present...to give it the feel of a 'diary'. I find that Shah Rukh smiles and laughs genuinely only when he's around Kajol. I've seen hundreds of videos, and he's quite stiff and awkward even when he's with Gauri! He's warm but careful with his other heroines. But his body language and face are totally relaxed and easy when he is with Kajol. And Kajol too seems more at ease with him than with her husband.
