In 1865, a young girl by the name of Alice Liddell went missing from outside of her home in Oxford, England. Left in the care of her older sister, Margaret, no one could understand how the seven-year-old had disappeared so suddenly. Yet, after multiple search parties were gathered, she was never found, leaving her family to grieve and wonder whatever happened to the youngest member of the family. No one would ever suspect the girl had fallen down a rabbit hole and no one would ever believe the adventures the girl would encounter in a world called Wonderland. From talking flowers to a mischievous grinning cat, Alice had experienced encounters that only children with the wildest imaginations could dream of. Over a century after her disappearance, the impossible happens. Alice reappears, however, she is only a few years older than when she disappeared. Crawling out of a rabbit hole in the Forbidden Forest, the wizarding world is stunned to uncover the girl who is completely unharmed, but more importantly, she is alive. However, with no surviving family, Alice is left in the care of a witch who helps her readjust before she begins her time at Hogwarts. For Alice, readjusting to her former world is far from easy but she's always been up for an adventure. Especially since she has her trusted White Rabbit to keep her company, not to mention a group of friends willing to help her along the way. She also comes across a boy who is so by the books and so set on following the rules, it's clear he needs a little nonsense in his life and Alice knows all about nonsense.

Lukas hates everyone... that pretty much sums him up. He is an introvert that is gay, everyone knows it and everyone hates it. His parents, his classmates and teachers of the sort. So, one day, his parents force him to go to counseling. At first, just like everyone else in his life, he hates them, but soon meets Jacob. This boy was to innocent to be here and honestly was the complete opposite of Lukas. He was loving, caring, likes everyone, so not Lukas' style. But then when Jacob starts showing up to this counseling group with more and more bruises, Lukas takes notice. He starts to discover that maybe, he can let his heart love someone over hating them.

[beware, i wrote this when i was 14-15, logic may disappear in some moments] Izuku Midoriya, a shy, timid boy with a yet happy and cheerful personality. Karma, the man that could make the devil shudder in fear. _____________________________________________________________________________________ After realising that society saw everything in only black and white; it's either you are a Villain, a Hero or nothing, Izuku's dream of becoming a Hero slowly dissolved. Instead, he wanted to change the world. To him, it didn't matter who the person was. If they needed help, they got help. If they did something bad, they suffered the consequences. Simple. That way, he earned himself the name 'Karma'. Karma was a man, that didn't hesitate to kill or hurt if it meant to avenge the dead or protect civilians. Many, especially Heroes, had twisted opinions on him, seeing that he was still a killer to the law. Yet, he managed to change their options when the USJ attack occurred. Still, there were a lot that wanted to arrest and charge him for murder, breaking the law and god knows what. But there were also those, who took a slight liking in the Vigilante. Later on, Karma would prove himself even more. He would find out informations about the Villains and hand them to the Heroes. Some were highly suspicious as to how he found those informations. But what do you do, when suddenly said Vigilante turns up on your doorstep, bleeding furiously and slowly losing consciousness? You take care of him, of course! Or at leat that's, what Aizawa does. However, what do you do, when you find out that the famous Vigilante is no older than sixteen? When he is just a kid? Yeah, Aizawa doesn't know either. Beaten. Bruised. Broken. Oliver Jack Quinzel in three words. Back with his adoptive father, Bruce Wayne, after being stolen away 9 years ago they think it'll all be ok. Bruce even gets Oliver into counseling. Then the counselor suggests something neither would've considered but can a little space really help Oliver recover? Can Baby be added to the words that describe Oliver? (This story is NONSEXUAL. It'll have references to Oliver's backstory "Batman's New Little Boy. The difference is, he's an actual kid in that story. In this one it's little space. Despite the references though, this story is not connected to it. Its more of a "what if" basis. Don't like it, don't read it.)

I wrote this story for a project in ELA, however, as I have worked, it has become so much more than that. This story was a way for me to speak from the heart, and address issues that face so many people today, including domestic and emotional abuse, alcoholism, and suicide. I spoke from the heart, and tried to connect with and create characters that meant something to a reader. I used real world issues that can be overlooked, or dismissed in mainstream media. This story became a way for me to speak about issues that mean a lot to me, issues that are hard to talk about, in a way thats real and compelling. "Blinded by Tears" was a way for me to share as I followed Summer through her journey and battle with abuse, and the powerful thoughts that drive someone to extreme measures.
