I had one darker idea when I was thinking up the Survival story, but I didn't use it and went a different way. On the other hand, I think it could be an interesting alternate version of the story. Especially for those who prefer something more angsty and dramatic. So we'll see what the reactions are. My apologies to Diego fans, but he really will be capable of anything in this story. A story I wrote together with my dear readers and fellow fans of the show. And this time, it's not just a canon rewrite-because everything that happened in the series finale still happened here. Only this time, Five and Lila have been given another chance. A chance to try again... and maybe fix things just a little better. But it won't be that easy-because for a long time, they don't even remember they've turned back time. So how will it end this time?

Another time jump didn't go as planned. Five accidentally ends up in 1963 and has to find his siblings once again. On top of that, they all face the threat of the Commission wanting to get rid of them. His first steps lead him to a psychiatric asylum, where he meets one of the patients - Lila, who claims to be from another time as well and says they can help each other out...

In one world, they sacrifice themselves to destroy branching timelines. In another world, sacrifices are made so that branching timelines could continue. Kind of weird and unfortunate for everyone involved. I think there's another option... and maybe that's the way to make things right for everyone. Here's an idea for a little crossover between the worlds of The Umbrella Academy and Loki. Major spoilers for both series. I recommend reading it if you know both stories, otherwise it could be quite confusing. But I will try to explain everything in the story as well. The main focus of the story is centered on Five, Lila and Diego as they deal with their situation. Elements from the series Loki are primarily represented by the TVA, while the story of Loki and Sylvie serves as a minor side plot.

After the death of The Handler, Lila tries to start anew but soon finds herself in chaos again when she encounters the Hargreeves family again. Her decision to collaborate with Five pulls her back into the dangerous world she tried to escape. Five, confused about what to do with his life as he returns to his timeline without the threat of another apocalypse, decides to go to the Commission. He wants to obtain what was promised to him while seeking revenge for the wrongs inflicted by the Commission. As tension builds between him and Lila, things take an unexpected turn, leaving them both on thin ice between the desire for freedom and unresolved emotions. Important notes: The story follows most of the events from the first and second seasons of the series, while later seasons are not applicable to this narrative. Main Differences from Canon: - Five is older in the story than in the series and is younger due to different circumstances (this will be explored further in the plot); at the beginning of the story, he is physically 17 years old. Lila's age remains the same, and in the story, she is 29 years old. There will also be different events regarding his recruitment into the Commission. - Lila and Diego did not have a relationship, nor did they sleep together. Lila is not pregnant in the story. However, Diego's interest in her is valid. - There is no threat of another apocalypse in the story, and the Hargreeves family has returned to their original timeline unchanged. There are also no characters from the Sparrow Academy. Each family member returns to their original complicated and chaotic lives. This story will have a darker tone; I am not sure how focused it will be on explicit content, but you can definitely expect to encounter Five's obsessive and manipulative behavior.
