⚠️‼️READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS‼️⚠️ Kalani has mastered the art of silence - not by choice, but by survival. Selectively mute and carrying a past too broken to name, she's spent her life shielding her secrets behind wide eyes and trembling hands. After the brutal loss of her mother and years under the control of a relative whose name still haunts her, Kalani and her twin brother, Kaleb, have only ever had each other. Then the police find them. But instead of being sent into foster care - something that, strangely, never happened despite years of instability - they're told someone is coming to collect them. A man they've never met. A white man. He claims to be family. He says he's their legal guardian. And without warning, they're thrown into a cold, unfamiliar world of sharp suits, marble hallways, and older half-brothers who seem more like shadows than siblings. A world of wealth, power, and secrets that run deeper than blood. As Kalani tries to navigate this new life - where silence is no longer safe, and the past feels anything but gone - she begins to uncover the truth behind her family, her father, and a legacy far more dangerous than she ever imagined. Some bonds are forged in love. Others in pain. And some? Some are written in blood. They thought they were escaping their past. But what if it just changed its face? Read 'SECRETS OF THE MUTE' and find out the story of Kalani.

Eliana is running from her past, and it's chasing her with a vengeance. When her loved ones are murdered before her by a cruel family, Eliana escapes to America and hasn't stopped running for six years. Now, they are getting closer. A dark twist of fate means that ancient bonds are revealed and Eliana is forced to question everything that she knows. *Excerpt* This time, I only made it about twenty feet before a large force slammed into me from behind, a tight hand wrapping around my mouth preventing me from crying out. Desperately, I reached my hands up to tug at the arm around my face as a second powerful arm snaked around my stomach, keeping me flush to the warm chest behind me and stopping me from falling from the impact of his collision. "Enough!" He growled close to my ear. Despite the strong arms and seething tone keeping me contained, I used all my might to struggle, squirming frantically to try and loosen his grip. My shouted pleas were muffled uselessly by the hand over my mouth and warm tears burned against my cold face as they streamed from my ballooned eyes. My legs kicked helplessly, and I must have got a hit in because I heard him curse under his breath before he easily but surprisingly gently, kicked my legs from under me and forced me into a kneeling position on the forest floor, lowering himself afterwards to match my stance. With this new position he could release the arm around my waist without allowing me any wriggle room and I felt him reach behind him to grab something. Shit. My breathing picked up and my cries increased in volume. Was he just going to kill me like this? In the middle of nowhere? Trigger Warning: This is a dark romance. Themes of abuse, death, violence and all around some pretty toxic behaviour.

She built her walls to survive - but he saw the girl still hiding behind. ***** Hope Graham doesn't remember what it feels like to be whole. Her reflection is a stranger, her silence a shield - and the pain she hides runs deeper than anyone knows. Then came Gavin Beckham. Mysterious. Guarded. The kind of boy she promised herself she'd stay away from. But he sees her - the cracks, the quiet, the storm she carries. And no matter how far she runs, he's always the one who finds her. ***** He smiled too. "Alright. My turn. Truth or dare?" "Truth." "Tell me something no one knows about you." "No one?" "Not even your grandma." I thought for a second. "Okay. You're not gonna believe this, but I'm the biggest nerd ever." He raised an eyebrow. "No way." "I'm serious. I read everything - books, articles, cereal boxes. Anything with words." "But you're always sleeping in class." "I don't like school books. I like storybooks and poetry." "What kind of books?" "Anything except romance." "Why not romance?" "I don't believe in love or happy endings. I'm not a fan of fairytales." "Ah, so you're a love skeptic." "Pretty much." "Why?" "Because I don't think there's an emotion more powerful than pain." "So... you've never been in love?" I shook my head. "No." "Do you want to fall in love?" "Why would I want something that doesn't exist? I'm better off alone." "What if I proved to you that love does exist?" "You'd be wasting your time." I smirked. ***** The Girl She Never Knew She Was is a hauntingly tender story about love, healing, and finding yourself in the person you least expect.

"No-please-don't do this!" Seraphina sobbed, her voice cracking as she clung to her eldest brother's wrist. "I-I'll be good. I'll do whatever you say, just don't-" A sharp crack echoed through the room as his palm struck her cheek, sending her crashing to the marble floor. Pain exploded across her skin, but it was nothing compared to the terror clawing at her chest. From above, his voice was cold. Unmoved. "You will marry him." She shook her head wildly, crawling backward until her spine hit the wall. "He's a monster," she whispered, her breath shuddering. "He's not human. Please, don't make me do this. I'll die." Her second brother crouched in front of her, grabbing her chin roughly, forcing her to look at him. His lips curled, eyes void of warmth. "Then die." Her breath hitched. "But you will die as his wife." The door behind them creaked open. Heavy footsteps. Her father stepped inside, his expression unreadable. "Lock her in this room," he ordered. "She will not step out until her wedding day." Sera thrashed as hands seized her, dragging her toward the massive iron doors. "No! Please-Father, please!" But he didn't even look at her. The last thing she saw before the door slammed shut was her brothers standing side by side, indifferent as she was thrown into a fate worse than death. Then darkness. And the only thing left was the suffocating truth. She was a sacrifice. A bride to the Sinister, a devil himself. #A STANDALONE BOOK
