His passion for this game began from the day his parents, a pair of former professional duelists, bought him a legendary Cyber Dragon deck. It is a deck known for its firepower and One-Turn-Kill (OTK) potential. One day, Edwin's parents leave home to undergo an expedition due to an incident occurring in the outer space, but not before asking Edwin to take care of the home alongside his neighbor and childhood best friend, Alice Takayama. At first, Edwin and Alice live a pretty normal life both as a school student and as a duelist. However, things have changed when Edwin had a prophetic dream involving a mysterious force that is suspected to be related to the reason his parents were sent on an expedition in the first place.
