It is there he makes a new local worker drone friend by the name of Lexi (a runaway miner child searching for a rumored drone refuge camp) and asks for his help. She keeps having dreams as this vampire apocalypse continues, and one day finds a familiar vampire who she fights with till she snaps them out of the weird trance they been put under. Having been convinced, Nikolai the vampire traps his human lover into his and his friends shared house to turn her, other wise having to kill her if not. But finding her hating how he trapped her, he tries to find a way to help her escape his and Jenny's captivity.
