a passage from a book I wrote called Camp Cedar. its a passage from the beginning of the book where the main character has a flashback of a child at Camp Ceder who is infected with an unknown disease at camp. he disease(aka forest fever) has caused an epedemic at the camp and the camp is on the verge of quarantine.

After witnessing the fall of Esterrae, Crest Solace begins to see that the heretics movements seem to be a message to her, a message that clearly reads "Come and get me," She finally now realizes that the EdenArch and her finally have the same end game, the end of Penance--the most dangerous force Eden has ever faced. Thrust into a race against time, but also a race against destiny, Crest must work side by side the faith she once discard. She must stop the heretics from unleashing the primitive power that once designed Eden and now threatens to erase everything that the great Alpha--our creator-- once built.
