Alissa is a girl who loves cliche love stories, where the mysterious hot bad boy has a haunting past and so does the nerd, but they save each other and fall in love in the end. However, her life may not be like in the books, and she's happy with it 'fuck the drama' and all. But little did she know, she already met her mysterious bad boy. Maybe on unusual circumstances, where she runs him over with her car, but she met him. Derek Lockwood. Derek never intended to fall for the school's hot catch. He never intended to cross the street to use a payphone to hitch a ride, and he never expected to be ran over by HER. Alissa kai. With a few bruised ribs, a broken arm, and stitches. With late night visits added to equation, they still manage to add fuel to the fire between them. Highschool isn't always a student's best friend. Rumors ruin people ,and not always do you find someone by your side. But if you love someone, and they're the reason behind your misery, can you still manage to love? Manage to hold tight? Have faith? Believe? It's not like in the books isn't it? Was it even real? You'll eventually ask yourself, and will that be the end? Throw in family issues , mysterious secrets, and people from their past, no one has the slightest clue if they're getting out of this without a scratch to the heart or a stab to the back. ∆∆∆∆∆∆ Please give this book a chance! The first few chapters aren't great, but the book gets better down the list of chapters. If you're looking for a Cliche breaker then this is the book for you. I try my best to read a lot and gather the ideas that are common between multiple books and change them into something new- more realistic I hope you like/love this book when it draws its conclusions because it'll be hella of a ride. Thank you. ∆∆∆∆∆∆
