FBI profiler Harper Sloan is used to chasing darkness - long hours, brutal cases, and the constant weight of knowing the minds of monsters better than her own. But when a series of violent crimes unexpectedly end up Seattle at the same time she's visiting her brother, Harper finds herself forced to walk the line between the horrors she hunts and the family she's nearly lost to time. Her older brother, Mark Sloan - renowned plastic surgeon, legendary flirt, and fiercely protective big brother - isn't thrilled to see his sister tangled in another high-risk investigation. Especially not when it's happening right in the city he calls home. Alongside former childhood friend and neurosurgeon Derek Shepherd, Mark is determined to give Harper something she's never had: space to rest, people to lean on, and a reason to stay. As Harper balances high-stakes BAU cases with the chaotic rhythm of life inside Seattle Grace Mercy West, she begins to rediscover what it means to be more than a profiler - to be a sister, a friend, and maybe even something more. But the closer her work gets to Seattle's heart, the more the lines blur between healing wounds and confronting old ones. Because monsters don't just live in the field - sometimes, they hide in the places we thought were safe. {Spencer Reid x Lexie Grey} {Aaron Hotchner x Original Character}

Princess Clarke Tauri has always been a symbol - the jewel of the Serran Empire, second in line to a throne she never asked to inherit, trained in diplomacy, etiquette... and how to weaponize a smile. But when war bleeds across the continent and rebellion ignites in the shadows, her father sends her to Basgiath War College with one order: Watch. Learn. Do not bond a dragon. But Clarke has never been good at following the rules. Thrust into the brutal world of Rider Quadrant, she enters under her true name - publicly royal, infamously spoiled, and far more dangerous than anyone expects. Her peers whisper that she's a pawn. A liability. A crown with no place on the battlefield. Until she starts proving them wrong. With a sharp tongue, secret scars, and a fire that won't stay buried, Clarke begins to carve her own legend - and catch the attention of two very different men: Dain Aetos, the golden boy with loyal hands and a wounded heart... and Garrick Tavis, the scowling wing leader who sees too much and trusts nothing. But dragons don't bond to pretty titles or whispered threats. And as tensions rise between rebellion and regime, Clarke must decide what she's willing to burn to become more than a symbol - to become something real. Because in Basgiath, surviving is a choice. Becoming fire is a declaration.

Auren Riorson has always walked a fine line-between shadow and steel, between survival and something more. Trained as a Rider, secretly drawn to healing, and bonded with a dangerous bloodwielding power, she can control blood itself-either to save or to destroy. Stepping into Basgiath War College, Auren finds herself back in the chaos: brutal training, cutthroat politics, and dragons circling overhead, their roars shaking the stone halls. With her loyal best friend Liam by her side and her older brother Xaden looming over every move, she has to keep her wits sharp. Because in this world, one wrong step could mean death-or worse. But graduating the war college isn't the only danger. Venin hunters, wyverns with razor-sharp teeth, and enemies hiding in plain sight are closing in. And as the stakes rise, Auren will have to face her family's deadly past, master the terrifying power she was bound with, and figure out if loyalty and love are worth the risk when everything could be ripped away in a heartbeat. ------------ if you haven't already read the Fourth Wing series... like, what are you even doing with your life?? 😂 go give rebecca yarros all the love because it's honestly one of the best series i've ever read. this fic is obviously inspired by her world, but for me it's turned into a story about love, friendship, found family, and especially the bond between siblings. a lot of it follows the storyline from fourth wing / iron flame / onyx storm, but i've changed up some of the characters, a few signets, and since onyx storm just came out-anything beyond that is just my own theories and imagination making it my own thing. and hey, if it's not your vibe... totally fine. don't read it, I'm sure there are sooo many other good ones out there! 🖤 and nooo i'm not telling you who Auren's romance arc is-you'll just have to keep guessing 👀

Auren Riorson never expected to survive her first year at Basgiath War College-not like this. Not with the memory of Liam's death carved into her bones. Not with a signet that grows more volatile by the day. Not with the truth about her family's murder and the fables of dark wielders and wyvern proving to be terrifyingly real. Now, the real tests begin. Second year at Basgiath is more brutal than the first, filled with survival trials designed to break riders from the inside out. But it isn't just the enemy outside the wards she has to fear. With her dragon Mal newly mated to a dragon-Auren finds herself tethered, however unwillingly, to the one rider she vowed never to trust. And with Navarre's lies unraveling, every secret threatens to destroy her before the venin ever can. The world is burning. Wardstones are failing. And the dark wielders aren't just stories whispered in the archives-they're coming. To survive, Auren must decide who is truly worth her trust, even as betrayals cut closer to home than she ever imagined. Determination won't be enough this time. Because in a world where dragons choose their riders, and dragons themselves carry dangerous secrets, Auren will have to prove that her iron will is strong enough to save them all- -or risk losing everything she holds dear to the flames.

Two of them became her lovers. One of them graduated and became her secret husband. But when the rebellion fell, Elara was torn away from them all. Now she's back at Basgiath, marked, deadly, and done hiding. Her arrival sparks a storm: -Xaden is the Wing Leader who can't afford to break. -Garrick is the second-in-command who still bleeds for her. -Bodhi, her best friend, and chaotic other half. -Violet, her cousin, bonds the dragon whose mate belongs to Xaden... which means Elara's husband has to protect Violet to protect the dragons. Being marked is a curse. Being a Riorson? A death sentence. Verena Riorson-sister to Xaden Riorson, daughter of Fen Riorson, the kingdom's most hated traitor-wasn't raised, she was reforged. Life didn't just shove her down-it beat her bloody and taught her to crawl in silence. Mercy? That word died the day her father did. After the execution, she wasn't fostered with a kind family like the others. No, the kingdom handed her over to the Velmires-a family that worshipped loyalty and burned hatred into the bones of every Marked child they touched. They didn't just punish her for her bloodline. They broke her for it. Rebuilt her into a weapon so sharp, even the gods would flinch. She begged once. Covered in blood, trembling on her knees, she whispered for mercy. The Velmires taught her what a mistake that was. She never asked again. Now she wears her scars like armor. Each mark carved into her back is proof that she survived the kind of hell no one walked out of whole. And Xaden? Her beloved older brother? He never came. Never searched. Never cared. Not until it was too late. The little sister he remembered-the kind-hearted, bright-eyed girl who clung to his hand-is long dead. In her place stands something else. Something colder. Stronger. Unforgiving. She's done hiding the monster they created. Done pretending the fire inside her wasn't born to burn kingdoms down. Verena Riorson has come to remind them all why they should've killed her when they had the chance. And gods help the ones who ever thought they broke her-because now? She's the storm they'll never survive.

In a world ruled by dragons and sharpened by war, Veronica Dawson was never meant to be anything more than a shadow in someone else's story. Thrown into the brutal halls of Basgiath War College, a place she's only ever read about, Veronica knows the rules: survive, stay quiet, and don't change the plot. After all, she already knows how it ends. But nothing goes as planned when she crosses paths with Xaden Riorson-lethal, unreadable, and far more dangerous than the pages ever described. His piercing gaze sees too much. And worse, he starts asking questions no one should. Surrounded by dragons, haunted by secrets that were never hers to carry, and hunted by a fate she thought she could avoid, Verena walks the knife-edge between knowledge and exposure. Because the truth is, she doesn't belong here. But the longer she stays, the harder it becomes to pull away. And if the world she's trapped in begins to unravel... It might not be because of what she knows... But because of who she's becoming. A Fourth Wing fanfic Xaden x Female OC

Darilynn Riorson has spent her entire life in the shadow of her brother-the infamous rebellion heir, Xaden Riorson. When she turns twenty and is conscripted to Basgiath War College, she knows one truth for certain: the Riders Quadrant doesn't forgive weakness. Armed with a sharp tongue, a few equally chaotic friends, and a rebellious streak to rival her brother's, Darilynn is determined to carve her own legacy-not as someone's sister, but as a rider who earns her place in the sky. But Basgiath is more than a school; it's a crucible of secrets where death waits behind every parapet step and trust is rarer than dragonfire. Then there's him-the hidden crown prince of Navarre, living under a false name. Cold, calculated, and infuriatingly untouchable, he embodies everything Darilynn swore to hate. Their rivalry burns hotter than dragonfire... until battle lines blur and sparks ignite something far more dangerous. As war looms and ancient magic stirs beneath Basgiath's walls, Darilynn must decide what-and who-she's willing to fight for. Because surviving the year might not be enough. Not when the truth could burn down the kingdom... and the one person she can't afford to lose. All rights to Rebecca Yarros, I only own my OC's Fem OC x Male OC
