An inexperienced rookie, a rising star and a seasoned vet; What do these three men have in common? They play for the worst baseball team in the nation; The Las Vegas Aces. Alex Gutierrez, (The rookie) must balance his personal life and his Pro Ball career as he is pressured to perform well on and off the field. Donavan Cabana (The rising star) is coming off his spectacular MVP season and must battle his personal demons to remain focused on the game. Devin “Mac” McElroy (the seasoned vet) battles injuries, old age and young, immature players as he must rise up as captain and unite the team. Year 1 of 10.

This is the first poem that I've written in a while, and it sort of conveys how I'm feeling right now. And how many others must be feeling. When I write down how I feel, it sort of helps. And when I read something that conveys how I feel, that helps as well. So this is for anyone who feels the same way. Thanks for reading :)
