Bliss has always been different. Because of a condition called CIPA, she’s never felt pain–no headaches, no cramps, no charlie horses. She also can’t sweat, cry or even play sports without endangering her life. And the worst part? She knows she has an expiration date, and it is probably fairly soon -- most people like her don't live past the age of 18. So, what's a girl to do? Well, if you're Bliss, you give the world the finger and decide to live life on your own terms. For her, this means training with her top-secret government agent mom in the art of hand-to-hand combat, and convincing her mad scientist dad to invent a special suit that will let her seek out the world's dangers without overheating and biting the big one. She is determined to take the world on, fighting the “bad guys” and leaving her mark during the short time she has. But when an old friend from CIPA camp asks her to help track down others like them who've suddenly disappeared under mysterious circumstances, her reckless lifestyle is put to the ultimate test. Especially when the junior government agent-in-training her mom assigns to help them with the case turns out to be totally hot--and totally into her. Torn between her feelings of anger toward the life she's been dealt and the one she could have if she just let others in, Bliss takes off on a mission that might just be her last.

***Ranked #4 in Non-fiction - "It's a thing of beautiful nonsense to be young." ***Featured original non-fiction for Pivot TV's Secret Lives of Americans. I Drew a Monkey in a Math Book and Now I'm Married is the true story of how I met my wife Jennie and our awkward teenage romance that followed. The book began as little more than a simple blog post about what it is like being married at the age of 18 and life 10 years later. As I began to catalog more and more of our story, I realized that what I had written was far more than just a blog post. It was a full chronicle of the the year leading up to when we were married and the precious memories that serve as the genesis of our family's story. In the end, it was a poor man's gift to his wife on the morning of their tenth anniversary, dedicated to her and shared with anyone wishing to experience a true teenage romance. I Drew a Monkey in a Math Book and Now I'm Married includes our personal coming of age story between two lovers on the in the twilight of childhood and adult life. You'll see our real life twists of fate, pitfalls and triumphs together, what we learned along the way, and the anecdotes of the misadventures of youth, including, but not limited to a touch of vandalism and the rewards that come with taking risks. I hope you enjoy the first few pages of our Book of Love. Some of it is transcendental. Some of it's just really dumb.

When her father dies in a sudden bombing, Opal Hunt devotes herself to the task he left behind: finding the lost Library of Alexandria. Her quest takes her to the ruins in Alexandria, to the dens of pirates and spies, into the corrupt glittering streets of the Imperial City and beyond. As the journey unfolds, so do the secrets her father kept in his life: an affair with the Imperial Princess, a son exiled, and a throng of connections to an underworld with a tenuous circle of trust. This young adult novel blends dystopian fiction with ancient Roman influences in a fast-paced read that questions who should be the keepers of knowledge and asks how well we can ever know the people we love.

I didn't choose the fandom life... The fandom life rose out of tartarus, grabbed me and yanked me down into this pit underground (but it's okay, there was a net) And once I was down there, it managed to shoot my heart with a bow and arrow then pinned me there with the assistance of a full body-bind spell... But I dunno, It's kinda fun down here... (Please note not all of these are mine! This is a collection of things I see out and about and have decided to put together for your entertainment :) Like the jokes and riddles books)
