Todays the day! The first day of my new job at the Mystery Shack! I've worked in customer service before so this shouldn't be too difficult. My parents kicked me out of their house, believing I had mooched off of them long enough, they pulled me from college, gave me 15 minutes to pack up my shit and go. They sent me on a bus with no destination. I sat there on that goddamn bus for 4 hours, trying to find a town that felt right. Everything was either too crazy, too large, too small, or too quiet. I had spent most of my school and college life avoiding people, only ever bothering to send birthday cards and holiday greetings to Stan over the years after he had taken care of me. So why did my heart ache to get to know Stanford Pines? Why did I spend countless house of the night wondering if he had eaten enough? How was he feeling? When was the last time he slept?
