After not seeing each other for nearly eight years, Justin and Laila are suddenly forced to spend the entire summer together. Now if that's not bad enough, Justin and Laila couldn't be more opposite from each other. At first it's plainly clear to everyone that they're just not going to get along at all. But the more Justin and Laila actually get to know each other - and when they aren't fighting over something stupid - the two slowly realize that maybe there are things in life they'll need each other to figure out. If Justin is arrogant, snarky, and just a bit too handsome for his own good, then Laila may just end up going insane. And if Laila's clever, quick-witted, and beyond pretty, then God help Justin. So the same thought on both of their minds? Is this going to be the summer of a life time or what?

Chronos is the Keeper of Time, immortal and immobile, his body locked fast to the Heart of Time. His is the duty to ensure that a balance of time is kept, creation, change, adaption and destruction all in due time. But then something starts to poison the flow of the Heart and Chronos has to reach out to the one person he never wanted to face again. The man who bound him to an eternity as a statue sentinel; his son. But in the modern age, even the god of the underworld has to earn a living, and as the CEO of Charron Shipping Industries, Mr. Hades can't fulfill his debt directly. Instead he calls on mortal descendant, Ananke, who has no clue of her Olympian heritage. She'd been on a professional mountain search and rescue team, until one day she started to see things that weren't there. She felt like she was slowly losing her mind until many times removed great grandfather Hades himself hunts her down at a cabin and explains the deal to her. Still doubting her sanity, and his, she agrees to be Chronos' eyes, ears and hands until the crisis is averted. Chronos needs her to be able to blend into the many different pieces of time in vastly different paths of the universe and that means he has to be inside her head almost all the time. It's uncomfortably intimate for both of them, especially when it becomes apparent that Chronos's body is dying along with the Heart of Time.
