When a secretive research site ends up making the mistake of a lifetime, the world slowly descends into chaos. It's only ever been seen in movies, but there's no other way to describe what happened to the earth and the people living on it, other than an apocalypse. A group of humans stick together to try their best to survive, they eventually lose their home, forcing them to travel and find a new one, they make friends and enemies along the way, but they manage to find quite an odd group of survivors, if they can even be called that.
